Every one of the forty channels in our JNSChip contains four correlators. During the initial search and acquisition of satellite signals, each correlator in each channel can separately act as a channel to search for satellites. Therefore, in every millisecond we can search for satellite energy in 160 C/A code chips. This is up to 13 times faster than any existing 12 channel receivers in the market today.
The Common Tracking additionally helps the initial search of low signal satellites. Furthermore, we have devised improved algorithms for satellite "symbol synchronization" and "energy search".
The combination of the above results in the most sophisticated initial acquisition and re-acquisition technique.
