Product description: Although priced to compete with the
range of budget GPS models, the Cobra GPS100 is packed
with features normally found on more advanced models. The
GPS100 uses an 18 channel chipset which, when combined
with Accelerated Satellite Acquisition Protocol (ASAP)
technology, enables the unit to acquire satellite fix
very quickly, to get you on the move sooner. The receiver
is also WAAS enabled, providing greater positional
accuracy than standard or differential GPS receivers. The
unit is simple to use and fits comfortably in the hand,
with the buttons used to navigate menus and zoom being
positioned for ease of use. A variety of information
screens are available, including map, gauge and trip
meter displays. Compass and altimeter functions are also
included. Golfers will find the GPS100 particularly
useful as Cobra has included the ability to accurately
calculate the distance to a green, making club selection
much easier. The unit can save the coordinates of 18
holes at up to 25 courses. |
