The Anywhere Map is an
exciting portable GPS solution for pilots.
Processing and display is provided using
off-the-shelf PocketPC (formerly known as
WindowsCE) PDA's.
Besides
containing a complete airport, navaid, airway,
and SUA database updated every 28 days, Anywhere
Map also displays most obstacles over 400' AGL
and shaded terrain for the United States.
Further, AOPA Airport directory is provided U.S.
airports. Version 1.25 also includes
Approach Overlays for many U.S. airports.
The approach database will eventually contain all
U.S. approaches.
Anywhere
Map is installed as a program, meaning your PDA
can be used for all its normal functions --
calendar, notes, MP3 player, contacts, E6-B,
etc... when not flying.
Designed
to run off 9-32V DC, the Anywhere Map system is
compatible with most aircraft and automotive
electrical systems. A rechargeable battery
solution is also available as an
option.
